1. Information We Collect

• Account information: email address, and name/profile picture if you sign in via Google.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used (e.g., watchlist, calculator usage), collected via Google Analytics (GA4).
• User-generated data: funds you save to your Watchlist, comparison selections, and calculator inputs you choose to save.

We do not collect financial account details, bank information, or payment data — MFLens does not currently process any payments.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to: provide and maintain your account; show your saved Watchlist and preferences; understand how the platform is used so we can improve it; and communicate with you about your account (e.g., password resets) when necessary.

3. Cookies & Analytics

MFLens uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand site usage. This may set cookies in your browser. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work as intended without them.

4. Third-Party Services

• Google Sign-In: if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture as authorized by you.
• Google Analytics: aggregated, anonymized usage data is processed by Google per their privacy policy.
• mfapi.in / AMFI: we fetch public mutual fund NAV data from this source — no personal data is shared with or received from it.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your account, including encrypted password storage and JWT-based session management. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and saved Watchlist will be removed within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or security purposes.

7. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account information at any time through your account settings, or by contacting us. You may also request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

8. Children's Privacy

MFLens is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date above.
